Blue Marsh Takes Team Training to the Ballpark!

What happens when you combine the Blue Marsh team, a day of learning, a few friendly competitions, and a baseball stadium?

You get one pretty great Team Training Day!

In October, our entire Blue Marsh Insurance team stepped away from our normal routines and headed to the Fightin’ Phils Stadium for an offsite training day focused on learning, brainstorming, team building, and—of course—having a little fun together.

Learning & Improving… Together

One of our Blue Marsh Values is Learning & Improving, and our team training days give us an opportunity to put that value into action.

We spent part of the day learning new things, discussing ways we can improve, and brainstorming ideas together. Having team members from different roles and departments in the same room gave us a chance to hear different perspectives, share what’s working, and think about how we can continue creating an even better experience for our clients.

There were plenty of great conversations—and lots of ideas we’re excited to bring back to the office!

But It Wasn’t ALL Work…

We also made plenty of time for some team-building fun.

Since we were at the ballpark, we couldn’t resist adding a baseball theme to the day. One of our favorite activities was trying to guess each team member’s “walk-up song.”

Activities like these may seem simple, but they’re a great way for our team to laugh together, learn more about one another, and strengthen the relationships that help us work so well together every day.

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Stadium

One of the highlights of the day was getting a special tour of the Fightin’ Phils Stadium.

We had the chance to go behind the scenes, learn more about the ballpark, and see areas we wouldn’t normally experience during a game.

A huge thank you to the Fightin’ Phils for being such fantastic hosts and giving our team the perfect setting for a day outside the office.
