We’re excited to announce that our August Charity of the Month is Berks County Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), nominated by our Protection Advisor, Laurie.
About Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Founded in 1954, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an international, nonprofit, parachurch sports ministry with a powerful vision:
“To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.”
FCA works with coaches and athletes of all ages, helping them grow in their faith while encouraging leadership, integrity, teamwork, and service—both on and off the field. Through campus ministries, camps, team huddles, coach development, and community outreach, FCA creates opportunities for people to build relationships, encourage one another, and make a lasting impact.
Here in Berks County, FCA is continuing to grow. The organization currently has two prospective staff members who are raising support to join the ministry full-time, an exciting step that will allow FCA to expand its reach and impact throughout our local community.
